PORINJU MARIYAM JOSE, REVIEW

Porinju mariyam jose  is a romantic action drama with few glitters of stardom and widely appreciated thrissur accent.

PLOT.
The film starts in 1965 and progresses to 1985 as the characters in the lead roles mature.  Porinju and mariyam are romantically entangled since their childhood, but fails to have a marital relationship as her father died on a futile attempt to threaten mariyam on eloping away with porinju. As the incident still keeps mariyam sad and lonely.
The films catches its crux when jose shrugs with a guy called prince from a merchant-class family where porinju is much loyal to.
In retaliation,  the younger generation Of the family warns porinju and jose despite the bonds with porinju. In its final lapse , jose gets murderd and porinju takes revenge upon them.  Finally, he got stabbed on treason and got killed,  leaving mariyam alone. ..

Positives.
Joju, chemban vinod and nyla usha are competitively gave their admirable performance and examplified themselves as great method-actors. Cinematography deserves to be mentioned for brilliant use of nightfalls, brown shades, few bird-eye views, and impressive color tones of varying degrees.. .
Musicals too marked its imprints with two situational songs and a romantic one. Hats off to joshys endurance and skills...

Neagatives..
Most of the people dont like the climax as we all normally wish to see our hero alive and happy at the end... So, the climax may dissappointe the audience in that way.
When the script tries to grabe our attention into the emotional havoc after jose's demise, it lags little bit with cliches of blooded gifts and sequences of console and cry..

Rating.
Am giving 7/10 as joju gripping upto the mark of a superstar...
