Minnal Murali Review.

Image
Minnal Murali happens to be one of the bravest attempt in Malayalam film industry, portraying Tovino thomas as a Superhero emerging from a countryside ,after being struck by lightning. Film sets its canvas on an imaginary village that's still not much invaded by commerce and development. After been struck by lightning, he overcome the tragedy and realises his extraordinary powers. Meanwhile he spot his imposter who is a social outcast. The lunatic imposter , though he doesn't actually mean to harm anyone, but tries to fix his puzzled life back on track, eventually turns out to earn a dark shade from the people after doing illegal activities.  As the imposter turns more violent after his perversion got ignited on his loved ones demise, he turns to become antisocial. Minnal murali, though he kept his identity on secret, uncover himself and save the people from the rage of villain imposter. POSITIVES . Story, script and fiction are blended with an ordinary village lifestyle very

BBC Sherlock Vs Netflix's Professor( Character analysis)

Image
BBC Sherlock and Netflix's Professor are the two iconic Brainiac of Pop cultures show reels, one with his absolute deduction and the other with systematic planing. With such a brilliant performance from Benedict Cumberbatch and Alvaro Morte, Both these characters have lots of fan base across the world. Here we analyse the personalities of both of them and will figure out how are relevant these characters in our daily life. 1) Pre vs Pro. Sherlock is all-time favourite for most of us with his extraordinary observation skills and deductions. Intelligence of Sherlock is more spontaneous and vibrant with no loopholes. On the other hand Professor never shows much spontaneous rush of analytic ability but manages the circumstances with pre planning and thus predictions. That's why one is an accurate reader of the past and the other is mastered in calculated guessing of future. 2) Laziness vs Systematicity Sherlock is very lazy and don't have any personal disciplines in his daily l

Churuli(Spiral) Film review and discussion

Image
Lijo Jose pellisseries latest release "Churuli" is a cynical mystery happens in a lawless land of malevolence and machismo. It's thought-provoking, artistically brilliant but not everyone's cup of tea. Plot. Two undercover-cops took over the challenge to find an absconding criminal named Joy, drew their parallelism with the folktale of a spirit who misleads people from their ways. They work and stays in a toddy shop to know more about the people as it's the place where everything can be investigated without anyone's suspicion. Living in such an uncivilised society without any values and conditioning, they explores their own freedom and ends up in the same loop of immorality. Positives  Similar to "Jallikkattu" LJP has nested the film in a hilltop, and reveals the story like a rustling air in glimmer. The story don't have a protagonist albeit, managed to continue the narrative in the same pace. Story is engaging like a fable, and the screenplay in

KURUP(കുറുപ്പ്), Film Review.

Image
When Dulquir salman's onscreen charisma clubbed with a character of negative shade, "Kurup" as a film turned out to become a "DON"- like- film for sometimes at it's final reels Though it takes too much time to establish the character. With such a narrative, I can't  consider it as an absolute crime thriller, but Kurup is really interesting,Stylish and attractive. PLOT . The film starts when Saiju kurup (police officer) read the case dairies of another retiring police officer who investigated the case of an infamous fugitive offender named Sukumara kurup. The story shifts it's timeline back to 1960's when Gopalakrishnan(kurup), a stubborn youngster from Kerala joins Indian airforce training, then to Mumbai for training. Gopalakrishnan meets arms dealers there and smuggles defense equipments from his campus, but eventually get got.To escape from the legal charges on these foulplays,  he flies back to his home , leaving his Girlfriend Saradha, and m

"Sardar uddham" is one of the classic historical film that must be watched by everyone in present scenario as India turns more into a land of parochial nationalism ,deviating from its enriched pluralism.  Plot . The core of the story is the assassination of General O Dwyer, a british lieutenant who was in charge of Jallianwallabagh massacre in 1919. This darkest hours of indian freedom struggle ignites the vengeance among lots and one among such was Sardar uddham. He tries to get connected with others who works secretly with leftist ideologies and seek help from them. After 21 years of his self-suppressed Revenge ,Finally, he execute General O Dwyer in 1940 and succumbed to death sentence by hanging.. MALIK, Movie Review

"Heros don't exist. If they do, i wouldn't be one of them"- as the Sherlock puts in BBC series, The film Malik also conveys the price the Hero has to pay for being so. The films tells about story of two religious minorities in 1980s ,who lived in a costal city peacefully with their own means of traditional livelihood and lifestyle. The character named Chandran who is a local smuggler got killed by the protagonist Ali as a revenge against a Fire accident that's thought to be conspired by Chandran's gang, which ignites the spark of vengeance and further powerplays. The story takes its religious edge when the character Ali was blamed for all the bloodsheds and allegedly thought to be benefitted from these mess, so his church. David who was once Ali's best friend and his brother in law ,emerged as a Christian minoritie's trigger point, was manipulated by the local politician named Abhu for his own Agendas. The clash between these two communities were fired
