BRO DADDY, Review

"BRO DADDY" is a Elite-Christian-family-Drama featuring Mohan Lal, Prithviraj, Kaniha, Meena, Lalu alex, Kalyani Priadarshan and so on.. The focus of the film is its witty interplay between a father and his son, confronting family, relationship, inhibitions and their issues.
Eesho played by Prithviraj, works in an international Advertising company at Banglore, living together with Anna she who is the daughter of his fathers best friend.

Film enters its trajectory when Eesho and Anna realises that they are going to have a baby.  Back in Eeshos home, his parents are also expecting a baby after a long time as his Mother got pregnant. Eesho and his father manages to arrange his marriage with Anna to solve this issues as its the only solution available to them except an Abortion. As Anna resists abortion, they both have to convince their family to fix things straight.

POSITIVES.
Casting is precise with well experienced actors on board, made up the film a smooth journey even when the script often looses its grip.
The film mostly shows luxurious lifestyles in grandiose villas there by make audience aspirationally interested.
Comedy is nicely diluted throughout the film that's all works out on a central theme of an accidental pregnancy.
Music, especially the track "Kaanaakkuyile" and " Parayaathe vannen" was another point in addition from Deepak Dev.
Very convincing use of Chekov's gun theory of fil making ,through a character who works in Bangalore, through a decoction given for constipation etc...was a nice attempt.

NEAGATIVES.
Climax was not very convincing as it feels like the writer simply put something impressive through the actor in lead to adjust what a peacefully ending film requires.
Soubin as an event manager enters in the second half to shower some laughter but resulted like a miscalculated addition of recipee to a satisfying meal.
The film doesn't makes any position on a social evil like Dowry, though it have enough room for it to stand socially and morally responsible in that regard.
Criticising Abortion even at second month of pregnancy was a conservative approach, unlike the other malayalam film Sara's ,that showed more progressive outlook...

Am giving 6/10 for the family entertainer, though its relatable only to an elite prime and proper families.
