ADI KAPYAARE KOOTTAMANI, MALAYALAM MOVIE REVIEW.

ADI KAPYARE KOOTTAMANI  is a comedy thriller directed by John varghese featuring Dhyan sreenivasan, Aju varghese,Neeraj madhav and Namitha pramod in lead role. the movie gossips about a bunch of events that happens in a men's hostel when Adhishta lakshmi (Namitha pramod) makes her entry to the hostel through the back-door-help from Bhanu(dhyan sreenivasan), and fail to make her escape unnotably.

STORY.
The movie starts like a horror drama showing lord wallace-mens hostel in black shades as an old lady rings the bell by watching some boys who jump up the hostel gate at night. The hostel was designed by a priest who was passionate about witchcraft and wizardry.  The epic about the hostel hints on the existence of an evil spirit in the hostel , that refuse to go back after being called by the priest through Ojo board.
The movie satirically introduce to the present hostel day with its Characters like warden (mukesh) Bhanu(dhyan) Bruno( aju varghese) and Remo( neeraj madhav) . As the story starts to develop , Adhishta lakshmi meets Bhanu at a coffee shop and situationally they both makes a deal of mutual help . She is willing to give money to Bhanu for sorting his financial problems and in return she demands him to take her to lord wallace mens hostel for a few minutes.
At night ,both enter the hostel when every inmates went out for a movie except those who are so studious. She asks bhanu to show her ex-boy friends room to slap him for cheating her by pretending love.Everything goes according to the plan except her exit even at 3 o clock early morning. The movie develops into the varying plots of attempts made by bhanu and his friends to make her exit without someone else's eye sight. But their plan was repeatedly challenged  by friends , warden and watchmen. The situations again got over twined when warden comes for a surprise inspection  and so on. Faiscos of every attempts offers a better laugh, that's what the whole story is. Continuous failure made them so tensed as they lose hope when every idea to make her exit from the hostel remains fruitless. finally , Exploiting the well-known belief about the olden horror story in the hostel, they design the last and final escape plan. meanwhile , Adhishta lakshmi  was caught by warden , But he too believed and convinced  with horror story and dread by the direct sight of her in a white marriage gown. Bhanu convince the farther that he can call out the spirit and he advise the father to to do further  spiritual ways of exorcism. Bhanu allured  the spirit through ojo board as adhishta lakshmi walks out of the room with all the horrifying ambiance created by remo and bruno. To convince the father about the fidelity of ojo board, bhaNu intentionally named the spirit as Cathy. But when they asks for her nativity ,the coin moves by itself as it slips from bhanus  finger tips and showed the alphabets 'England'
Taking all these scenes pragmatically, they all brilliantly make her escape.  And how the coin moved is finally answered when the real spirit vanishes away....

POSITIVES
the mocvie is full fludged with lots of comedy. As the laugh crackers are more situational, casting  supported the script and matches perfectly.  Songs are fresh and youthful including BGM. As the director is the one who gives out the bests even from  worse, he proves it by presenting the story beautifully though it was actually boneless. Script needs to be recognized well for providing blood and flesh to the story to make it more lively.

NEGATIVES
 Taking the belief for granted, exorcising an evil from a mens hostel is too far from the reality and even from ones imagination. Climax thus turned out to be a complete mess up of fire and blood that's childishly threw to the face of audience , blurring all the laughter lights given by the movie just before. Predictable counter dialogues sometime fails to give out a loud laugh.

The movie doesn't make you feel bored even a single moment. It always widen your cheeks as frequent as your eyes blink. But the only debt you have to pay back is to ignore its climax.
