Mission impossible, Dead reckoning. Part one Review

Tom cruise, the man of impossible mission once again proved his expertise in handling cinematic action. Though the recent films of the franchise couldn't leave upto the expectations, this one will compensate all the losses.

Plot.

Ethan hunt( Tom cruise) has got a mission to find a half key. When it joins with the other half, that can unlock a destructive weapon that can control the entire cyber space. According to the film, there is one section of people who wish to keep the weapon in their hands sp that they can control the whole world. But the other side wish to destroy it as it can be a potential threat to humanity. Ethan tries to destroy the weapon by finding the two halves of the key so that he can realise what the keys actually are, and to destroy the weapon that get unlocks using the key. The other character named Gabriel wish to posses the key for his own purpose. Finally, Ethan could get the keys after a strenuous fight and realise its purpose.

Positives.

Its all about Tom cruise. His speedy runs, amazing driving skills, raw fights, gigantic jumps, narrow escapes and timing are the best enjoyable part in the film.

Cinematography is to be commented for its clarity. Unlike the other fast moving action films, mission impossible 7 shows exactly what's happening without simply confusing the audience with some close up cut shots and ear dusting background score.

Witty scenes inbetween the horrible challenges were all plotted well and these could really worked out.

Art direction also deserves special metion. The entire train sequence was just wow..!!! Car chasing sequence in a yellow fancy fiat and jumping off the cliff to land on the train were also well choreographed and hilarious.

It also have emotional content. Friendship, loyalty and sacrifice are immensely reflected in plot.

Negatives.

The film gives less clues about the Entity and its potential threats. It simply refer it as a deadful algorithm that can infiltrate into any security system and manipulate it according to it's own AI functions. If one more immense impact of it, other than the self destruction on the parent submarine by its torpedos is shown, audience could have understand it more reliably to the plot.

Rating.

Am giving 8/10 for this film and so happy to see Tom cruise on big screen just like enjoyed Maverick few years before.
